Well...maybe a couple of you have searched for me, but I am not popular enough to have 12 people looking for me in one week! And, hey...if I never signed up with them in the first place, how did they have my e-mail address? All that aside, a couple of times I went to sites only to find that they want to sell a membership. Now, I am not an especially cheap person, but **dang** they wanted more revenue from me to add to all the advertising revenue they'd already gotten from Match.com or some other dating site - you know what I mean? Yeah, some of them allow you to register for free, but if you want participate in anything? You pay. And Coral Shores Alumni sites are popping up all over the place. Just Google it. How did this site get started? Years ago my sis Mary needed a place to post info about an upcoming reunion, so we teamed up and put together a lttile site. Then just recently, a long-time client - an alumni assocation from Jamaica - wanted a facelift for their site. I proposed a Web 2.0 (social networking and self-maintained) site. Once I started working on their project, I got more and more excited at the prospect of using the system for Coral Shores Alumni. Classmates.com we are not...But you can: - Create an account.
- Browse class articles and photos (no login required - see "Find Your Year" on left menu*).
- View upcoming events (no login required - see "Events" on left menu).
- Maintain your profile / biography (requires login).
- View classmate profiles /biographies (requires login).
- "Connect" with classmates (requires login).
- Submit an article (requires login).
- Submit a Web link (requires login).
